AI Use, Training & IP Policy
AI USE, TRAINING & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY POLICY
Website: ShaunTwilliams.com
Rights holder: Shaun T. Williams
Effective date: 16 October 2026
1. All rights reserved — no AI use by default
All original creative works presented on ShaunTwilliams.com and associated portfolios, galleries and showcases are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. This includes, but is not limited to, original science-fiction designs, spacecraft, fictional worlds, characters, 3D models, environments, textures, materials, artwork, illustrations, renders, animations, videos, concepts, blueprints, source files and other digital assets created by Shaun T. Williams.
No permission is granted to use these works for artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) purposes by default.
2. Prohibited uses without express written permission
Unless expressly authorised in a separate written agreement by the relevant rights holder, you may not use, copy, download, extract, scrape, reproduce, process, distribute or incorporate protected material from this portfolio for the purpose of:
-
Training, pre-training, fine-tuning, testing or evaluating AI or machine-learning models.
-
Building, enriching or distributing AI training datasets, reference libraries or other machine-readable collections.
-
Developing generative AI, image-generation, video-generation, 3D-generation or world-model systems.
-
Creating embeddings, model adapters, LoRAs or other model components derived from the material.
-
Replicating, imitating or reconstructing original designs, characters, spacecraft, fictional worlds or distinctive visual styles through AI systems.
-
Creating synthetic assets or derivative content using the material as an AI input, reference or source.
-
Supplying the material to third parties for any of these purposes.
This reservation applies to material accessed through this website and associated portfolio pages, to the extent that Shaun T. Williams or the relevant rights holder has the authority to grant or reserve those rights.
3. Copyright, ownership and licensing
All rights not expressly granted remain with the relevant rights holder. Viewing a work online, or purchasing or downloading an asset under a separate licence, does not automatically grant permission to use it for AI or ML purposes.
No ownership, assignment, sublicensing right or other permission for AI use is granted by implication, silence or general portfolio access.
Any permitted AI use must be set out in a separate written agreement that identifies the relevant works, authorised purposes, scope, duration and any applicable exclusivity, payment and downstream-use conditions.
4. Limited, expressly authorised exceptions
Shaun T. Williams may enter into specific commercial agreements with selected organisations to license defined works for particular AI-related purposes.
Any such permission is limited to the works and uses expressly identified in the signed agreement. It does not grant general permission to other organisations or individuals, and it does not automatically extend to other works, future creations, fictional universes, characters, designs or related intellectual property.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, no permission is granted to use licensed material to create competing games, clone existing titles, reproduce the underlying fictional universe or create unrestricted derivative products.
5. Existing licences and third-party material
Some works may be subject to existing marketplace licences, customer agreements, collaboration terms or third-party intellectual property rights. This policy does not expand any rights held by Shaun T. Williams beyond those he is legally entitled to grant, nor does it override existing contractual obligations.
6. Enquiries and permissions
For commercial licensing enquiries, including requests relating to AI training, dataset development, 3D asset analysis or other technical applications, please contact Shaun T. Williams through the contact details published on ShaunTwilliams.com.
Please identify the specific works, intended use, organisation, proposed duration and whether exclusivity is requested. No AI-related permission should be assumed until it has been expressly agreed in writing.
All rights reserved. Permission must be obtained before any AI or ML use that requires authorisation.
